Real Estate Crush | 17th Century Frescoed Italian Villa

This extravagant mansion for sale in Lucca, Italy was originally built in the 17th century by wealthy silk traders. Renovated and added to over the years, it’s unclear how much of the fresco work is original, but it looks pretty amazing to me!
It’s a bit strange, but unlike so many ornate historic homes, I feel like I could move in with my imaginary modern bohemian furniture and feel totally at home! Something about the bright colors in the frescoes and the beautiful light, I think.
For the mystery asking price (I assume, as the saying goes, if you have to ask, you can’t afford it), you get gardens, a citrus grove, stables and an adjoining farmhouse. So who’d like to invest in the most luxe bed and breakfast ever? Predictable as I am, I’m thinking we can take ample inspiration from Wes Anderson in this endeavor…
