Greenwich Hotel’s Incredible Japanese Influenced Rustic Tribeca Penthouse Suite

I almost didn’t post this, because I feel like between our trip to Japan and my propensity to post about other Japanese related travel topics, every other post around here has something to do with Japan. But this connection is a little looser– and just look at this place!
Robert DeNiro apparently has fantastic taste. He commissioned Belgian designer Axel Vervoordt and Japanese architect Tatsuro Miki to create this stunning 2 floor penthouse suite, in a rustic Japanese style that is killing me.

The Tribeca Penthouse is part of the Greenwich Hotel which DeNiro co-owns. It’s available for booking, though I won’t break the spell by telling you just how much it will set you back.
