I first came across Jersey Ice Cream Co through their inspiring Instagram posts, but it’s not difficult to find their work in the interior design blogosphere. Couple Tara Mangini and Percy Bright travel across the US and the world to renovate homes, frequently moving into the house while they’re working on it. The name, if you’re wondering, was borrowed from a vintage embossing stamp scored at a flea market.
Their rustic, vintage influenced interiors are full of handpicked antiques and pieces they build themselves. There’s no question they work hard (they really do nearly everything themselves, from design plans, to renovation, to buying furniture and doing the final styling), but it looks like such a fun and creatively fulfilling job!
There’s something about this mini-canopy of macrame that I’m crazy about. So much so that I just spent an hour on Etsy scrolling through thousand dollar macrames and wondering if it’s even possible to re-create in my beige-walled suburban apartment.
